I'm not too far away - would've loved to have done this however my back is really playing problems with me at the moment.

Do you know which programme you're going to be on?

Great to hear mate. Our coach has a speed gun and is bringing it down when it doesn't rain. Would be good to estimate eachother's pace. Good luck fella

The second speed gun on the series was at Wareham, about 45 minutes from me. Would of gone up but I had a game

Getting measured on the speed gun can be particularly embarassing.  I bowl seam up, and on occasion feel like I can get a bit of pace up.  I did a Pitchvision event where they had speed guns set up, and the fastest I could manage was 62mph.  We (recreational cricketers) bowl an awful lot slower than we think we do.  The fastest kid at the event, who looked relatively nippy, was only closkced at about 71mph.

I did the NatWest bowling thing at the Oval last summer and bowling off about 4 paces (there was a tree right in the middle of the  "Run Up") achieved 55mph. The quickest was a 17 year old, bowling off the same kind of run who achieved 79mph!

No - I asked the organisers how old the quickest had been, and they said he was 17!

Did a NatWest one at an ODI a couple of years ago and had me at 60 with some 10 year old at 67. I wanted to hit him so hard.
