It was said with sarcasm mate lol, in response to the comment suggesting we drop Trott lol. Yeah fair enough about Tremlett, so it appears we have reached a verdict.... the England one day team is doing alright. PS, Pietersen hasn't scored any runs recently, shuldn't we be calling for his head again by now? :)

U had ur eyes closed lol pietersen to me has been top player for me this series confident all over again

Sarcasm again mate, would you rather I made it clearer by putting (!) after it so everyone knows?

Pointless mate, he doesn't 'do' punctuation.

Oh and Shaq, we are a forum, not a text message.

You got it though didn't you Jon? Having a bit of a crisis of confidence as everything I've posted today has been ridiculed or laughed at lol.

Glad Cook didn't beat Gooch's 333. I can still remember that innings and how he dominated the Indian bowlers. I've forgotten much of Cook's innings already! He's not someone I'd shell out my money to go and watch.

I don't think Cook has peaked yet - they say batsmen reach their best late 20's to early 30's. I think he will go on to be an England great, and hopefully be the leader of a ver dominant England team for several years...

...but you're right, he's not very exciting to watch.

but then neither was Steve Waugh or Mark Taylor or Allan Border

Well done Cook you have worked hard to change your game and it has payed off.

After England's dominant Ashes win in Au I said at the time that England is the best Test side in the world and by the length of the Ascot straight. I am right and the thing that has come out here is that Indian players have suspect batting techniques and will always get found out by the very best particularly when India tour abroad.

India are touring Australia this summer and will get beaten here as they will not recover from this current series in time.

Did anyone else see Nasser Hussain with Cooks bat this morning? Lovely looking piece of willow, massive edges!
