England vs India Test Matches
« on: July 20, 2011, 09:59:34 PM »

The cricketing summer finally starts here, Ive been waiting for this for ages. Will the Little Master create history or rather how many matches will it take him? England have a cracking seam attack and then comes Swanny. The English batting lineup  is as good as it has ever been over the years. India with the aging pros arrive as Numero Uno and I dont see them getting a pasting. Actually I see them doing quite well as the conditions will suit the seamers and Bhaaji has been the number one offspinner over the years and has a point to prove. The batting is quality as expected and some great new talents are on show
Lets hope the weather holds up at Lords and let see Jeet back on here posting. ;)

If England can get through the first 1 and 30 they should get a big score

Lots of swing, careful start from English openers good challenge for Straussy against Khan first 12 overs!

Total disgrace that the BCCI vetoed the use of DRS and the ICC let them. Seems India have the power to have the rules changed to suit them.

Just hope it ends up hurting them in this series, then all series in the future might be played on a level field.

Yup, they really deserve a few shockers this series for that, Tendulkar to get a stinker on 99 would be amusing.

Really poor stuff from the BCCI as the game was making progress with the review system.
A very odd decision in all.

What is the logic behind the refusal of the use of technology? Surely you want to get the decisions right!!!

I think testing conditions for Strauss and Cook so far, but they have been able to leave too many balls. Bowling has been too wide for me. . . .if its swinging . . .get them driving. . .with slips and gully in place.

if England can get through the first hour . . .then runs will be plentiful.

Gonna be a top score from Strauss, always comes through. Money on him to be top scorer this innings. Heard it here first...

Anyone waiting on cricket equipment from India should write off the next 3/4 weeks.  They will be glued to any TV like Gazza glued to a can of McEwans  :D
