i have a cone and a kwick grip

use grip cone for chevrons and half grips

use kwick grip for all others as you can't use the cone for GM shock absorba or feathers, thick spirals

Just used the 'plastic bag technique', took me about 20 minutes to figure out the best way of getting the bag through the grip!

However once I did it took 2 minutes to get the grip on perfectly, plus it was one of those weird GM shock absorber grips.

Definitely going to use this technique again, just so much quicker (once you figure it out!!)

It will go on fine with a cone, plastic bag trick is sooooo odd, I've always had a cone so have never thought of fitting a grip without one.

I find it hard to get the grip on fully, I always have a lose bit at the top causing creases when I roll the grip down the cone. Any tips? ???

Just get it on the bat, roll down and then if it is short just push the roll up and down several times as it will bounce up the handle a touch, then push it all the way down and you will likely get a bit extra, do the same thing again with the main roll of grip and it will snap into place, roll up and it should be perfect.
