Sorry Edward, thanks for answering, but I think orange (and purple for that matter) should be banned from all cricket equipment...! Although my opinion isn't really worth much!

Colsey - I agree - nice to see the return of green and blue.

but while you are here, what about the pittards palms? it would be good if a few more of your gloves had pittards, in my view

Edward, does anywhere currently stock your 2012 gear? I'm looking to get some black GM Control grips but can't be bothered to wait!

 (and purple for that matter)

You must surely not include Newbery Cadbury colouds in that?

I don't like purple or orange stickers and that includes Newbury Cadbury stickers and the new Millichamp and Hall Railway Sleeper "the Master" stickers.
I appreciate I am in a significant minority on this.
Sorry for clogging up the topic!

No, bats will start to find their way to the market place towards the end of October

Each to their own! Very specific colour objections if you don't mind me saying so!  :o

Pittards = pricey, so needs to be deployed sparingly.

Thanks Edward - and the colour oblections are founded entirely on nothing at all (so I should be ignored!!) :)

As for the pittards, price is a fair enough comment, although Kookaburra seem to manage to get some on their Rogue 850 range which retail around £45-£50.

I see a note of skeptisim - fair enough. My gloves have the pittards logo on so I assumed they were genuine as they are a kook ones, but as you suggest there are pittards and pittards!!

thanks

Thnk on the Rogue 850 only the small black section on the palm is genuine pittard leather, the main section is textured to look like the 'Quartz' leather from pittards.

Tom - that would make sense although on these the palms are pretty good

Good question - the point about the Player Editions are that they are the exact profile and dimensions of the bats that the players use. So a Player Edition JT is very different to a regular Icon, and we are making these profiles available to purchase by discerning cricketers for the first time. They are of course made from LE Grade timber.

Have a look here - ah no Forum rules say I can't post links I think, so not wishing to upset anyone, have a look at the website, Player Editions are on the first page.

Kind regards
