Shakey start from the top order.

But KP and freddie have played sensibly.

And sorry but why the hell did bell get picked over shah? Once agen another start dintnt push on.

And also noticed that cook is using a Xiphos.

Disappointed that the start of Strauss' reign as captain sees England pick the same old predictable team. would like to have seen at least a mini shake-up.

Bell and Panesar out, KP at 3, Shah at 4 and Swann in.

Looks like a poor performance on what has been reported as a road of a pitch.

to be fair not exactly a postive days cricket but some good bowling on a helpful wicket from benn and gayle. Some turn on first day, even for Gayle! Silly shot for pietersen on 97, had a chance to make a massive score!

good day for the Wi

England came back well but i d have to say theyre overrated and many commentators analysts and pundits share this view.

Brilliant innings from KP played sensibly and batted out of character for a passage which showed his capabilities as I cricketer.

Sulieman Benn bowled well , better than his figures showed had KP Freddie and Ramdin in trouble.

he was using Gray Nicolls shoes as well

seems like GN are making their players use their goods only

It doesn't really matter that Pietersen was out for 97, he batted brilliantly... The shot that he played was fine, as he says its how he plays... He wouldn't have got 97 in the first place if he wasn't being himself. And 100 is just a number like any other, big deal

Definately Shah in, Prior once again looks his worth, best batsman being a keeper, even though Foster is England's best wicketkeeper
