Few questions if you don't mind;

When you removed the scuff sheet surely there would have been glue/residue leftover you just scrapped it? Didn't require any chemical etc?

If I don't have power sander can I do it by hand?

advantage of a hammer edge is that you only have the awfull fibre stuff on the edge of the bat.

the front just pulls off easy.

your never gonna get the glue off with sanding by hand. power sander gets it off cos it heats it up but it gets propa sticky and clumpy  best way is a bare stanley knife blade held up right and just scrape it all off.

takes time tho.

ive just done mine. it was a pain and i rushed it and it doesnt look half as good as ryans.

the stickers are ment to be that way on that bat i think

Yeah it should just scrape off. If not then just some turps...i had to but just try to use as little as possible. You would be able to do by hand but I dont think you would be able to get the finish or if you did it would take a lot longer.

Well I used a furniture wax which has beeswax and linceed oil in it...got in from wilkinsons lol but in sure salix wax would be better

wire wool does a decent job of scraping off glue. Power or detail sander also helps but tends to have gunk form on the sanding sheet. beewax does the same as linseed, I don't think you need both.

I did use a little wire wool but it just sent the glue a grey colour so didnt bother anymore....the wax had both beeswax and linceed in it so best of both. Gave it a nice sheen too.
