Played 3 games, opened the batting in all of them, scored 44, 133, and 4.... Although I was given out LBW for 4, despite the blatent nick onto the pads! I don't get why they let 60 year olds umpire

Heck no. Of course he hit it and he hit it before he hit the pad, lol. Solution to the situation, how about some of you young folks take up umpiring. Situation solved (except ofr the rest of the problems that will be generated.)

Scored 42 , helping the team from 2 for 2, to 102 for 2 then played a very tired lazy shot to get out. Didn't see the ball in the field all afternoon.

We bowled first today, I bowled 7-0-35-0 in a total of 214-8 off 40. Had 3 dropped catches and then 3 turned down lbw appeals, 2 of which i'd say were plumb. (then again I would ). Awesome day in the field though, was at wide mid on, when one of their openers on 95 smashes one straight down the ground ran across and forward had to dive and got both hands under it was very happy especially as it broke a partnership of over 120; the best was yet to come though, when at backward point, dove to my right to stop the ball as it bounced up, then AB De Villiers style lieing on my front threw the ball at 1 stump running out the seond batsman in that 120 run partnership by 2 yards.
Batting I made 10 today, and felt in good nick, was promoted to 3 and came in 20-1 off 10, put on a partnership of 30 something, just got out to a ball that kept low was gutted really.

11 yesterday, and then out caught behind. I was dropped first ball, so they were 11 bonus runs anyway! Team won, against won of the leagues stronger sides - we posted 186 on a really rubbish track, so it was an awesome total. The oppostion got 130 odd for 9 in reply

Last week on first innings back from injury I made a very stiff 2 on Saturday, then 33 off 34 balls on Sunday before nicking a good one.  This week only played on Sunday die to a stag do on Saturday - 60 off 70 balls out of 226-7, then 2-10 with the ball.  Feel like I'm easing back into it.  Should have made a ton yesterday though ;)

1 off 2 and 0 for 0 off 0.1 overs, not too shabby run rate

Had training tonight and felt as if my batting and keeping was in good nick. Got a match on Sunday so hopefully can have a good performance.

I bowled 19 overs, 4-97 on a road of a pitch. Also had 3 dropped catches of my bowling and a missed stumping so not a bad day :).

4 yesterday  played around a straight one - my head keeps falling to off and I end up trying to hit too much to leg - I only seem to have started doing it this year. I think I'm picking the bat up towards gully as well - going to work hard on it this week. I feel I'm currently the weak link in our top 6 - partly because I'm feeling out of touch, but also because the other 5 guys are awesome. We won anyway, and have moved up to 3rd in the table as 3 other results went our way (one team above us lost, and 2 other teams were abandoned)
