Q1. Are you still selling four leaf clover bats?

Q2: have you had recent new investment in your business as your new range is a significant departure (and improvement) on previous ranges

Q3: Why did you name your bats after Titleist golf clubs?

Q4: How much input does Robin Smith have in the business?

Q5: Are you taking any steps to reach out to the non-UK market? If not, why?

Q6: Have you signed up any pro's you can tell us about to use your gear for next season?

Q7: How much free gear will you give me for one of our Batoff tests? A bat would obviously be ideal!

Q8: Did Matthew Hoggard hand pick his bats and what weight did he use?

Q9 Leading on from my post in another thread can you tell me a bit more about your knocking in machine?

Q10 - do you think modern bats perform significantly better than 10-15 years ago or is this a bit of a myth?

Q11- You make both modern and more traditional profiles...which do you prefer to make and why?

Q12 - Which bat do you use in a game?

Q13- i heard a rumor you use the name chase because when at school you used to chase the girls away with a cricket bat?

Q14 - why should I choose Chase equipment over other similarly priced companies?

Q15  What do you see as the next 'trend' in batmaking? ie thick edges, concaving etc...

Pete is probably still in the car on the way back as we had a net straight after our visit! I'll leave it to him to do the full report but what I can say is that Dan answered every question, made me a stunning bat, sold me some R11 pads that are excellent and proved to be extremely entertaining company as did the guys who work for him. He really is a top bloke! Lots of interesting info to impart but Pete has it all written down and I am sure he will get it all posted with lots of pics by the weekend. For what it's worth Chase have launched their new website today. www.chasecricket.co.uk ..............Well worth checking out! All the new gear is on there. I'm not a keeper but I was particularly impressed with the new keeping gloves.....so soft and supple!

I have dealt with Dan over the phone quite a few times now and he does seem a good guy and to make it better all of his gear is class, really like the new stuff especially!!

Pete reckons he'll get the report up tonight or tomorrow night, I think he got dragged out Christmas shopping this weekend! He also had his visit to Asad at Uzi Sport to post which happened the week before and that only went up last night! I am nagging him though!  ;) It's worth the wait, it's a very high quality setup there.....we were both blown away.

Personally I didn't but Pete might well of. If, by chance, he didn't snap them then I will take some on Thursday as myself and Pete are dropping off a few bats with Dan for various mods and tweaks!  ;) I'll post the pics in this thread. They are really nice mate, the padding inside the cuffs is so soft! They look really classy.......

I know!!!! What can I say? It is happening, in fact it might become a two parter as we are off to see Dan again tonight! We can't keep away at the moment, it's having a very negative effect on my bank balance  :D

Pete has just said the review stuff will DEFINITELY be up for this weekend.....something interesting to read over Christmas! Result! Maybe he is just waiting for a captive audience???

Ok, ok! I'll start by posting the Questions and Answers within the next hour or so!
Then I'll do the workshop photos and bat photos in the next day or two as a Crimbo treat!  ;)
