that's a pretty good effort for a novice.There is a huge skill in batmaking which is why the best have been plying their trade for years,and probably why most of us spend large money on something that could break the 1st time we use it in a match.
If your serious about bat making-podshaving- it might pay you to take the finished bat to Salix.You may be surprised how much time Andrew Kember would have for you.
He started at the bottom, as did all of them,Nick at M and H ,Tim Keeley,Dan at Chase,etc,etc...
