Removing Indoor Ball Marks from the willow - NOT scuff sheet
« on: January 22, 2012, 10:21:45 AM »

Can I clean these dimpled-ball marks off?  would alcohol or nail-varnish remover damage the wood in any way?

if your saying the bat hasnt got a scuff sheet you could just lightly sand them off?

if it has got a scuff sheet, try a slightly damp cloth and put in some elbow greese

fattus, get the sand paper out big man, you will need some in your bag at all times now you are a proper batsman.

given that you now only hit the ball in the middle of the bat, it shouldn't take too long...!

Sand them off mate but get a face guard on as it will keep it protected better and make life easier in the long run
