Have Brian & Brenda got a website by any chance?
Massive luck that i was just checking out ebay for some Asics/adidas/ mizuno for some cheap running trainers to maybe sent off to be spiked.

any recommendations for suitable trainers to be spiked?

Just to let you guys know that different repairers use different methods. In my opinion stitching the new soles on is not neccessary & water can seap up through the needle holes causing dampness on wet grounds. I did a lot of Somerset's 1st team players trainers last year & had not one complaint ( & i'm sure their footwear must take a hammering ? ) & they are coming in again already this season. I finds Asics are the most popular & different players have different requirments. Check out my website www.shoedoctortaunton.co.uk & if you need advice i'd be happy to have a chat.
