I found this or maybe something similar not to bad for a bowler to warm up. I used to use one tied up to our nets before fielding. Found it stretches places that normal stretches or easy bowling for warms up cant do.

Plainly, it is a simple bit of kit. The price is quite high to me for what you get out of it. But this is my opinion.

Not used the batting function of this product to be honest.

I am now just using a run of the mill resistance band for my stretches.

Thanks for the input guys. :)
I consider the price to be a little high as well - resistance bands are doing just fine for me right now.
Thanks again.

depends how much value you place on the expert input - we got one froma sponsor and its been pretty useful - its good for bowlers and bowling coaching, less convinced that the batting stuff really works.

well I am still debating to invest money in it or not.
If its just a warming up aid - then I might pass.
Does it help one bowl faster / use wrist a little better or something?

I reckon it probably does, yes - I don't bowl myself, too many shoulder problems, but the kids I coach seem to benefit from it.  We're talking light speed here, but they get the ball down okay with less effort.

Well that definitely changes my thoughts about it. - might try one soon.
Bet'n I use medium resistance bands for practicing few shots(cover drive straight drive and sweeps), its works pretty well for me.

don't waste your money,

I have resistance bands and I am planning to modify them to my needs.
If I improve a lot, then I will get the actual ones.

Start collecting money LOL :D - House time
In US, we don't have indoor nets available (everywhere) - resistance bands help work on your fast twitch muscles.
I do see a lot of improvement coming out of offseason, My hands are quicker on the ball - driving, cutting and pulling.
Will keep you posted how much I score this season.
I do appreciate all your guys time to share their knowledge and wisdom. :)
Thanks a ton.

nope there not. there're almost as good as doing nothing, but if it works for you, go for it...

No, they don't, in fact this type of "training", while bad at every thing, is practically useless of developing "fast twitch" muscle or "motor" development....  Google "overload" if you want to find out more

Here is my two cents..

2-3 years ago, can't remember exactly, i went to a physio as i had shoulder pain for about 4-5 years that was getting worse...i could bowl fine without any pain but everytime while fielding when i threw the ball i would feel a lot of pain, it got worse near the end where it would be constant pain even while i sat stationary...

So physio did his work and told be there was a muscle near the right shoulder blade was weak and because of that the shoulder joint was not supported properly so certain movements made the shoulder move more than it should causing pain...regardless the rubber tubing was great for those workouts and acutally helped strenghten the muscle and pain slowly went away...

it did not make be bowl faster though,,,my pace has increased over the last coupld of seasons but i credit other things for it...
1 - I play badminton a lot and have a powerful smash, i practise with my friend for hours where i would smash one and he would return it, then i lob it up and he smahses, we do this a long time atleast once a week during off-season,,,plus then we play with other for abt 2-3 hrs once a week...this is find is great as its a burst of enerrgy then a second or 2 to between the next one...

2 - Lots of cardio increases your stamina, which means you can run in harder consistently, i also found i lost weight due to walking a lot which made me move eashier and faster...i am not one of thise runners but i do walk a lot, tu the tune of 40-50 KMs / week

overall this winter i have been lazy / busy and can already feel i am slower in the nets, thats what works for me may not be for everyone...rubber tubing will help with making muscle stronger but will not make you faster...
