We had good win Saturday. i won the toss and chose to bowl which looked like an inspired decision when they were 14-2 off 11 until one guy tee'd off from ball one and got 43 and our fielding went downhill. We eventually bowled them out for 138 in 40.2 overs. We personally thought that was about 70 too many.

We knocked them off 1 down in 20.5 overs and I top scored with 79 off of 61 balls

Played against my old club on Saturday, they batted first and after being 70-1 off 12 we bowled them out for 126. I bowled 3-1-6-1 and was taken off! Opened the batting and after hitting a few fours early on a played across the line to a ball the nipped away the last minute and took my off-pole, we ended up knocking them off 4 down which was nice!

Yesterday played a hungover sunday league game for my old club (as I was there for the weekend), came in at 2 when we were 2-1 and hit a steady 50. Game was rained off with 10 overs left in the 2nd innings!

Bit of an update on my nightmarish season so far:
In the league we have had 3 games, I have faced 11 balls and am yet to score a run. Been caught once and bowled twice (played on on saturday though). So im not looking forward to facing a former Zimbabwean test cricketer next weekend and a former England u19 player.
In the 20/20 cup game I fared a bit better, opening up I hit a quick 22 including consecutive huge 6s over straight midwicket/cow corner haha
In out midweek games I have scored 25 opening up, didnt bat the next day (odd I know) and then got another duck last week, edging the ball onto my pad and then onto the stumps 

Im feeling like I just need my luck to change, but after 4 ducks, and 3 consecutive ducks Im starting to question my own ability, and am getting more and more nervous before I bat. Hopefully  a couple of nets will sort me out this week.

Played yesterday, opened the bowling, 6overs-15 runs, 1 maiden nil poi on wickets, then was batting at ten which annoyed me a bit but there we go.

yes lol - but nobody in our division is stupid enough to let us have first hit on a decent batting track. Hoping next season we'll find our level and it won't as one sided.
