1st ball going for a six  :-[

If its in the slot i go for it, majority of my innings open with a 4 or a 6, not proud of it but just the way i play.... my problem is losing concentration a little later and playing across...

today my club won the Keith Crump Cup, which is for our division and the two divisons  above us in the OCA league.

We scored 234-7 from 45 overs.  I got 31 not out
then we bowled Risinghurst out for 94.

Good start as we only formed the team in October.
Happy days

also, as it was my last game of the season, I finished with an average of 44.75, thats 40 more than most years

Played in a Presidents game today. Batted 10 and got 20* though I didn't really get on with it at the end but it was difficult to time against spinners and we had batted 57 overs in getting 249-9. We lost by 1 wicket in 40 overs, I took 3-20. Was a little hacked off I only got 6 overs when some of the home favourites bowled rubbish and got more overs, but the end result was fair enough. Did clean up an MCC Young Cricketer, though he did have a 100 against his name at the time.

One of my mates used my H4L and was very impressed in scoring 79* with it.

Won our top of the table clash on Saturday, means we are now 2 points clear going into the last game... Going to be close! I managed 22 runs before getting a thick inside edge and the keeper took a superb catch down the leg side!

Don't worry you'll be batting higher than that on Saturday!!

Third ball duck yesterday!! We won though, no thanks to my dreadful effort with the stick....

What would have been my last game of the season was rained off. Was expected but that meant I had to go shopping with the missus  :(

Only due to exams in my case, But I think we only have about 2 weeks left anyway. We Started the season earlier and lost a lot of games due to rain which haven't been rescheduled. A bad year in terms of the summer that never was.

Yesterday was the first day of my Saturday club's annual 2-day "Supertest" against our main rivals, King's Road, who also happen to be a club that IJC sponsor!

They posted 199 all out, and we are currently 78-6 in response, after being 72-2 at one stage! I am due to bat at number 10.

Bowled 15 straight overs in their innings, and managed to take 5-45, which was very pleasing - first five wicket haul of the season!  :)
