I was part of a school team that defended 17 on a cow pat of a wicket once. That scorecard has just reminded me of that day.

Laurence Marsh must be a bladesman, double figures!

Don't have the scorecard, but I was involved in a game where my whole team got bowled out for 7 (We had 9 or 10 players -can't remember, but wasn't a full team)

Was in U-16's and we had a lot of players pull out, so had to get some U-14's and even an U-12's player to fill in. I came in at 3.

I got 4 n.o with the rest of the score being wides. Bowlers weren't doing a lot, the deck was good and it was a sunny day. It just seemed like no one understood that you didn't need to swing at everything.

Worst day of cricket I've been involved in. Haven't had anything close to it since though, so that's good.

How about this scorecard?

Was told about it today and couldn't quite believe it.

Must have been a minefield of a pitch!  Can't blame dodgy umpiring for that one.  Only 1 lbw

I know that standard and it should be very good, but how on earth did Otley's change bowlers bowl 4 overs for 37 and one guy takes 10-5-15-10? Even worse Bilton got themselves to 70-6 before collapsing for a 2nd time. Then Otley are 59-9 and 9/11 knock off the 15 runs required. That said it is Yorkshire and I've won a game defending 44 before. Hardly surprising when the track was dry/cracked with wet green patches, add in some typical knee deep grass on a sodden outfield and you have a low scoring game.

Bilton is normally a decent wicket and nice ground, and the weather was decent if I remember rightly
Davies has played Bradford league, so a decent player, and then a bilton bowler takes 8for as well
On the same day, one of our lads hit the first 5 balls of an over for 6 before missing the final ball

I am guessing that they have to bat out their overs. The fielding team must have been totally demoralized

They aren't having the best of years really, a side took pity last week and declared on 340 odd from 40 overs.
