I agree with you too. Don't like the stickers from the 2014 batch.

 For me it's missing that stylish and classic look that GN are known for.

The GN bats that are made in Robertsbridge from 'players grade' willow I have noticed to be a notch above the off the shelf ones I have seen. (Probably are off the shelf ones just as good, The Ashes edition bat I have made from there is probably one of my three top ones, along with the Meulemans XXX and the old GN Phoenix. I think the Phoenix edges it, just because of the fond memories I had of using one. (Scored my first six with one!)

Have not used a GN but have a couple for sale and the Oblivion Players Long Blade looks and feels like an absolute gun.

had 2 powerspots my first two proper bats handle broke on the first sent it back and sent me the updated model that then split from the toe upwards    the top half of the bat i still have and is used as a catching bat (saved me a few ££££ looking at the prises they want for them) for coaching kids and has now been christened baby bat by them   :) :o
