This is so cheeky! I love it! Fair play on Paul for doing it once, if you do it twice Paul, wow!!

So here is a question for everyone saying its a business and not charity. If i purchased a bat today and then went back to purchase a bat tomorrow then how is that hurting Paul more than me buying both bats the same day?

And whats stopping me from asking someone to buy for me for a small financial gain? instead i decided i would ask rather than cheat the system.

Also Paul dont worry about it mate, I was just tempted but if I see something i like i will pay regular price for it

Also thanks for generous offer i do really appreciate it. Wasn't asking for a bigger discount like some posts suggest but instead to be able to buy more stuff with current offer.

I don't see what the problem is. I was after a bat, it was sold b4 Paul had a chance to sale it to me. At the time he wasn't expecting to order anymore in. I order a set of softs on this info. I think the amount of sales generated & the probably overwhelming orders and interest for certain products means it's more viable for him to order in as he will make sales. Ok his profit margins are smaller than they would of been but I expect most of us bought the gear just for the sake of it. If Paul decides to let people order again then that's upto him. As we are into old sayings then here's one "if you don't ask you don't get"

The offer ends on the 12th of August so you still have plenty of time, the people who are asking for another discount are those that have used their discount now want more stuff.

There is no harm in asking IJC for some more discount, aslong as he is selling the products for more than he is buying them for then everybody wins. He is doing us a favour selling them cheaper than we would get them for and we are doing him a favour by improving his cash flow.

That would be nice but t doesn't work like that... You have to take into account the cost of overheads too... e.g lease/rent, electricity, labour, freight + cost of goods. So it's is more than just selling it for more than you buy it for, if it was it would be easy to make money.

The guy has done an amazing deal to thank members of the Forum- to ask for more just seems greedy.

OK, having slept on this, the decision has been made: NO DOUBLE DIPPING.

Tushar, I think you were right to ask the question, and I don't actually think it's greedy to have done so.  However, as it is, our (minimal) resource is stretched to the absolute limit to fulfil all the orders anyway - especially the knocking in - and if we're offering 30% but taking 2-3 weeks to send everything out, it all seems a bit pointless to me.  The last thing we want is to become another Pro Direct!  :D

Had there been an overwhelming majority wanting to double dip, I may have felt differently, so I was curious to check all the responses, but it seems like the majority is actually against it, which has made this decision a lot easier...

To be fair, when I saw the title of this thread, the subject was not what occurred to me... :-[

The right choice! If people are wanting more kit, order it from IJC at full price. This supports a Forum Sponsor who has been incredibly generous, and technically you get 15% off both orders, still a good saving.

Lol I do wonder how many more responses could have been generated had Tushar simply decided on a different, more obvious title!
