Fat Argon for Fat Sam.
Edge branding looks pants.

In all fairness, looks like he has compiled a good innings!

I was at a sports shop today and the octane f2 is without doubt the best profiled bat I have picked up in a long long time.
I picked up a 2lb 10oz one today in Harrogate if it was not for my wife saying no it would be here with me.

wow what a pick up on the bat totally balanced and I did try the 6 out of the shop and all balanced well I normally use 2lb 6 to 8oz but I could easily I use this one and it was a 707 and on sale for 120

What a shape

really not helpful! I love that shape too but have no need for another bat.

Well compared to  the kookaburra shapes all of them there very ordinary but the octane is simple brilliant the downswing the pickup the feel in the hand it was that good £120 quid for a 8 straight grains no blemishes and she said no unless I sell one if my others..

And she got a rab jacket out of me

I was trying a couple of 606 Argon's in allrounder this week. Felt a very big bat for the weight. Not convinced on the pickup of either the Octane or Argon, but the only Octane they had was a little on the heavy side for me. Isn't the Octane a little Laver-ish in profile?

You got me there it is but it feels more roundish in profile and the ones I picked up felt nice.
They hardly had competition though the menace and the ricochet there where poor at best sometimes we forget how spoilt we are on here.

The argon felt ok but the octane is the one I could possibly buy if I move one on
Which one to sell to get it

Not realy nick with the chase custom on route to Canada I'am left with. 2 Ss my b3 and another chase and the kg coming oh and my laver .

There simply not enough money to afforded all the bats I want.

The octane though is a cracker in terms of profile for me

Nope the Ss and b3 are top top class the chase is very good the other Ss is ok the kg I don't know not arrived yet and the laver is my older classic.

I do not tend to collect bats I have whittled them down might sell one or two of the above and get a octane then just stick with them  :D

So I say

Octane is my favourite new profile for 2013. We having a stonking 808 in stock at the moment.

Good to hear the good comments
The argon f2 is my favorite at the moment due to the size of them
