@jd163 - nice pair. What's your thoughts on the Silver Sovereign and Mega? Both profiles I like.

Silver Soveriegn got the lowest middle in the Aldred range, it picks up like 2-8 and superbly balanced but i wont recommend it the butterfly grade. Still trying to get used to the hard sound butterfly cleft makes. Paul's craftmenship is one of the very best and all his bats feels atleast 3 oz lghter than their dead wieghts. Finishing is top notch.

Laver on the other hand feels bottom heavy which is fine with me as this is my T20 bat. Laver has a distinct sound to it and performs very well. It is more suitable for slogging in the last overs as this is kinda heavy for a long inning. Basically a big hitter bat for really low bounce pitches.

Sorry for the late reply guys...I had a CA bat long time ago ...the best bat I had and always wanted a new bat exactly like that. This one is made in UK as per my specs by Morden Sports.

In terms of specs, it's 2.10 but feels fairly light...42 mm edges ...thin semi oval handle and off course the fullest profile you would ever see.

@FattusCattus - Yes, it's the same guy from Woking but his name is Anjum Zeeshan and now his shop is in Morden, Surrey  :)

H4L Hattori  2.10
H4L Devil 2.10
willowsix spitfire (has weight taken off so its now like a Chase finback) 2.7

really want something with a more traditional shape although both H4L are new... want more don't need more

H4L used to make the tempo which was more traditional, right?

I'm using a 2.12 newbery. Best bat I've ever owned and I'll be looking at getting an exact replica made of it towards the end of the season.

What happens if he's still in when you go out to bat?
