Missed out his own bat, a kookaburra. Sorry, but too snobby to go for any off the shelf bat myself.

B3 crown custom- ridiculously good bat

Not endorsing ur own brand Michael? Or is that due to not wanting to devalue it with some low scores 😜

Saturday's I'm using my h4l Nv I bought as a net bat. It's coming out of it like cannon fire!

Wednesday i will use the Warner in a match for the first time, I want to get a few games under its belt before it sees the new ball.

Got a nice little range to choose from, but all depends on what the wicket is like b3 3 stripe custom shape 14, puma platinum 6000, chase volante R11, blueroom bombara elite, blueroom Storm elite and looking to add a RPC custom and blueroom avalanche in the coming weeks

A non branded grade 3 Kashmir willow, 2.7 al-cheapo.
Has a nice balance and the pickup provides an accurate feeling as to where the sweet spot is.

well i had every intention of using my new purchase NB DC580 (purchase off the forum of course) the entire team had a little knock up with it before the game with everyone commenting on how great it felt.

When push came to shove though i walked out with my B&S LE (another forum purchase) its a great bat. nuff said.

I must say though as it had been spitting i had all 4 of the bats in my bag in my hands before i went out... in the end i just thought.. wtf, use what you want and worry about it later. The curse of CBF - PIBD Pre innings bat dilemma.

H4L G2 Hellfire - 2.12

Same as last year, and half the year before that, still going strong.

Same for all conditions & matches, I don't buy all this 'bat for low bounce', 'bat for high bounce' rubbish. It'd take me longer to adjust to a new bat than it would to adjust to the pitch with my Hellfire.

Don't be such a princess, go out there, and hit the bloody ball!

If they can have a bowling coach, a batting coach, a fielding coach, a wicket keeping coach, a fitness coach, and a head coach, then I would like to have a bat for low bounce, a bat for high bounce, a bat for inswing, a bat for outswing, a bat for leg spin, a bat for off spin, a bat for reverse sweep, a bat for slow bouncer and a bat for Yorkers.

I would like walk on the pitch like a golfer with an assistant caring by bats on a donkey.

Ha! Fair play.

In reality, the only reason I have just the one bat is because I'm a tight git....

Well, playing in the local midweek league last night I was batless due to varying circumstances so went in 4th with a Duncan Fearnley Attack in polyflex (with what looked like the original grip) that was lurking in the bottom of the team bag. I always used DF when I was young so thought why not. None of this fancy concaving, no big edges just an old fashioned cricket bat with cracks in the face but it went really well. I finished 43 not out including a decent 6 and a few 4s.
I had forgot how good the old DF bats were.
