Lovely kit mate, but is it just me that would get very annoyed at having h4l everything and SPS gloves? I know it's a preference thing with everyone but all my kit match I dunno if it's habit or superstition now haha

I see your point and i did have the matching gloves but the Newbery SPS 1 gloves are my favourites so why use anything else. There very plain aswell so its not as if the kit doesnt go well together.

Plus i was looking forward to seeing the new 2013 H4L softs and may just get a pair of the gloves if they look good.

Hey, just took a few snaps of the bats I found lying around! ;)

My bats:

From left to right: Red Ink middling bat, Red Ink LE X1, Helios Atlas Reserve, Aldred Vintage Supreme, H4L Hattori DVL, Newbery Tour SPS, Laver & Wood Private Bin (Pete Hosk SCat profile), Vantage SCat series 3 LE and a Bulldog Amplus Pedigree Plus.

The brothers'/extra bats:

From left to right: EW middling bat, Vantage SCat series 1 LE (Lithium stickered), Salix Pod Players, Laver Special Reserve (GN Aus Legend profile), Kookaburra Ricochet 250, Blaze Dragon (Vitas bargain bat), Mongoose Torq Premium, Hunts County Triumph Cyclone and a Readers KW middling bat.

Friend's bats, bats in for repairs and youth bats:

Left to right: Kippax Leviathan G2 size 5, Kookaburra Kahuna 150 size 6, GM Purist 808 size 6, MSR for my friend, Woodworm Torch Premier (used to be mine, but now my friend's), Plain Pakistani made bat (same friend again, goes like a rocket!), Fusion (same friend again), Kookaburra Ice (not sure what grade) and a CA Plus 5000.

Fusion bat, experimental repair:

Kookaburra Ice to be repaired for a uni teammate:

Woodworm Torch Premier, my old bat, now a friend's, which has been glued up:

CA Plus 5000 with toe crack which ran up the edge, repaired:

And a few clefts for shaping over the Summer. 8)

I recorded a video of most of these, which was basically me rambling on for 45 mins, smacking bats with a mallet and bouncing a ball on them, and then decided to scrap it as I can't be bothered uploading. :-[

Wow I am so impressed this is what I am looking to do someday. Collect hopefully this many or more bats. The boys on my team call me crazy cause I buy two new bats every year. Your collection is awesome. I found on of mine this year still looking for the second one. Its like I can't have enough cricket bats.

Chad has a good collection but don't get to know Petehosk ;) (or maybe search for his collection - bat inventory) you will lose your mind

Lovely looking kit, the soft pockets make it look that little bit smarter! 8) Is that a sponge you have underneath the grip on your Shark?  ???

It's half a folded grip to help with my over reliance on my bottom hand.  I experimented with it last season and found it helped more when I had it in there.  Althoughn I'm going to send it off to Ryan to have an oval handle put in before the start of the season.
