In all honesty I prefer a helicopter sheet. I liked the idea of this version but the rigidity meant that when you edges the ball, the sheet split and cracked. And, hands down the most god awful scuff sheet to remove!

If you don't mind spending time to remove it (or get someone else to do it) then I'd recommend them if you can somehow reinforce the edges.

They are less than 1mm thick. I guess the extra glue makes them difficult to remove, not that I have tried.

Dont like the sound of them splitting when edging, are they that brittle?what about putting a strip of the fibre tape down the edges nice and tight

Another idea might be to trim them to bat width so that they don't wrap around the edges.

Just on the cracking topic, my outside edge has received a right battering and has cracked onto the face, but the inside edge is fine:-

That said it's done a decent job of protecting the face during winter nets, better than many I've used. I'm going to leave it on for the season and get GM to refurb the bat in the autumn, including taking the sheet off  :)
