Simmy is charging up the M69/M1 as I speak - eta was 11.30pm so don't hold your breath on those pics today.

Salix bats looked great, the Strike Wasp looked a great willow at an affordable price point - rrp £180, so sub £150? stickers were so so but not that bad.

Boom Boom might work from a retailers point of view, good price points (didn't see the wholesale prices but I imagine they were good) and large willow. However with the bigger brands, gray nics in particular, doing similar size willow I'm not sure how they will go. Agree with thecord, marketing aimed at the asian market.

Wasn't impressed with the Dynadrive, looked like a badly made Luna.

Thanks to Tom for the invite, enjoyed today and meeting other forum members.

Don't think many will agree with you about the dynadrive, but good point about the wasp - I had forgotten about that one! Good to see some sub £200 salix bats on the market now. I am just nervous about this whole flat face thing. I can't see it not putting quite a lot of people off! I hope I am proven wrong though because there aren't many rounded faced bats for us retailers to choose from next year!!

Thanks for the photos! Mongoose keeper gloves must be one of those that look better in the flesh than in photos I reckon. When I go to trade shows all the suppliers swap stock at the end, I take it this doesn't happen here?!

Good to see Newbery Cadbury. Mongoose keeping gear was nice. SF softs very good for price points. And love the retro ranges from GN & Slaz.

Disappointment was from M&H who did nothing new in bats really, and softs were mainly fugly.

Star of the show was the Chase FLC. Also liked Salix Torque.

aha I did remember to take a photo of that!

I like this bag too, they did have another bag in a similar style but that didn't look very good at all.

Agreed about the millichamp softs, especially their lightweight pads which were hideous.

Any info on the 'Newbery Pro Grain' Tom?

5 star bats made to look like cenkos grade willow?

Can anyone expand on this?

It's basically a 5* bat which is dyed to have perfect grains. Similar to the grain sheet bats you've seen from other brands but dyed into the wood.
