From experience, the teamsheet now will bear little or no resemblence to the team who plays!!

In that case I shall sign up some ringers now!

Spoken to Stone Skipper, Steve who's a top bloke and clearly loves his cricket. We are confirmed for Thursday 15th August. Game starts at 11am. It's an all day game. Things to note:-

1. Simmy - all day means lunch and tea and supper (with match fees charged).
2. It's a timed game but the team batting first will have a declaration forced on them if they bat 55 overs. In my experience even all day games never get that far.
3. Steve/Matt should be able to give us guidance on B&B's for those that need them
4. I'm not sure how true this is but Steve mentioned Matt might be willing to show some of us around his workshop - Matt to confirm!
5. Happy if forum sponsors want to bring some kit to sell. Cleared it with Steve.
6. Oppo are a mixture of decent cricketers and not so decent. They are all H4L'd out, as you would expect. Sounds very much like us, so it should be a good game!

If it clinches the deal for anyone, just noticed that Stone's ground is about five minutes from Bluewater shopping centre...might help get the missus interested?

Unfortunately mate you've got the wrong Stone, as bluewater is near where I live and Matt's place is a good 50 minute drive.

You'll be having lots of fun with the Bulls this season.

Does anyone have a postcode for the right Stone then?
