Interesting that Kook took the top two spots in the test. It seems that lots of people don't really rate them, maybe down to the Indian made, mass volume stigma. I must say that from personal experience, my old Ice was a stormer, much better than most English made bats I've used. I think a lot of it is down to consistent levels of quality, which you would associate with smaller volume manufacturers. Less chance of getting a dud from the likes of Salix, Newbery, or one of the custom makers. No doubt that there are plenty of diamonds in the rough though, as that Ricochet proves!
