Good effort,
Do you ever get knee pain?

I've not noticed any knee pain. I've even had ACL reconstruction in my left knee a few years back but that is fine. 1 thing the instructor keeps on about is never sacrifice good form, and to rest when needed to keep good form. I think if you stick to that then you won't get knee pain.

Well I'm into week 3 of insanity and things are really hotting up now, all the major aches and pains are a thing of the past and body movement is fantastic as well as my flexibility  :D

I have lost no weight what so ever but I have lost 3 inches around my waist and I now also have a 4 pack.

As for my diet
Monday to Friday its 3 weetbix in the morning with 2 tea spoons of sugar and for lunch at work is 2 apples and a banana washed down with a protein shake. http://www.discount-supplements.co.uk/sports-supplements-whey-protein-optimum-health-ultimate-whey-protein-2-25kg

Dinner is what ever the wife has cooked which is always healthy.

As for weekends its what ever is going with a shake thrown in as a meal replacement. As for the larger I have cut it down to a pint a week at the most..

So far so good.. will stick post my fit test results later today..

I'm on day 40 and lost a stone feeling fitter cut out all sugar and minimise on the apples as they have lots of natural sugar go for a salad for lunch and you'll see the weight drop

What's in a name, I who guess a set of wings and a fair disdain for 'hats'........

A simple and small change of diet and when you eat can have a really large effect.

Whats the deal with this Insanity workout then?

I'm just in the middle of downloading it all, to give it a shot because I'm heavier than I've ever been and been promised a batting promotion if I can drop some serious weight.

From what I know, its 60 day program yes?
different workout every day? or?

any info would be good

Hey man, it is a 63 day program, and there are about 10 different discs, and you do one of them everyday, so you end up doing each about six times each. Try keep to the diet program and the exercise one for maximum results, I saw great results even when following the diet plan loosely! The rest is pretty self explanatory, and you can find a 63 day calendar online somewhere I'm sure, which tells you what to do on what day. :)

Hope this helps!

PS. I have been very bad with my Insanity workout and diet. Just so easy to fall out of it if you don't have someone working alongside you, and when you have been buried with work! I will be starting month 2 tomorrow, as I want to trim a lot before my 21st, which is exactly 4 weeks from today! :-[

It probably is mate! If not, drop me a PM and I'll let you know what's in it etc. Basically, it just gives you meals you could try and the calorific content of the meal. I normally improvise on these meals, or look at what they all have in common, so I know what I should eat and what to avoid. :) It also gives a list of foods that are good, and ones that should be eaten in moderation and others which should be avoided!

I'm on my recovery week, having done 4 weeks, I have lost nearly a stone in weight as well. I haven't followed the diet plan as I had a cholesterol check which was a bit high, so I've cut out cakes, biscuits, pies etc and have lived on chicken, tuna, some pasta and fruit, fruit by the shed load, feel so f......g fit.

Loving Shaun T even though I know whats to come for the next 4 weeks.

Started off at 13 and a half stone, now 12 and a half aiming for 11 and a half possibly eleven for a visit to the Tour de France in July.

It is hard work with a full time job and the Mrs moans about the sweat on the carpet but she loves the new me.

Next up is the Asylum, check that out its insaner :)
