I've had a few comments like that on the pads...
I admit they aren't the best looking but they are comfortable and give good protection.

Can I ask. why would you need two lots of pads abduction 5gloves and ten bats? Trying to justify it to a mate. can't really say why

The squeak is terribly annoying.
I got the gloves from the sports direct sale on Sunday night and arrived monday evening. They are so comfortable and just great quality :) A very good purchase.
Will do a review later.

Looks like you give the toes of those scats a battering jenks.

Hey Stewie. Yeah mate I don't know if its just a thing with scats but both have gone the same way....cracks that run across the toe and up the edge of the bat, hence all the fibreglass tape. They are the only bats it has happened with ever.

Hows your season going mate still using that H4L you had last season?

Hi guys,

Thought I would put up a couple if pics of my old & new bats.  The new was just purchased from Paul @ IJC - excellent service from him

Fingers crossed pics work

My old GN is a powerspot circa 1994-5, bought when I was 14-15 then ignored from about 22 - 32 (this year!)
I was not going to get a new bat until next season but Pauls sale tempted me in like a siren call.

Newbery is GT players grade. Bout 2.9 (GN comes in about 2.7)

Ping off the GT is amazing & the sweetspot is about 2-3 times bigger than GN.

I don't know if the GN has dried up over time or if its always been that way. It might have been under knocked in when I got it (Im didn't know what I was aiming for!) Or maybe its been over oiled over time - I don't know, but the difference is amazing.

Just working on getting the Newbery knocked in now!

OK - done something wrong - any suggestions? Photos on flickr, used Img tag

Victory! More hard work than expected though!

They are supposedly a pair that were made for Alec Stewart but were slightly too small. They have the hallmarks of a custom glove, the T web is slimmer than normal and there is an extra bit of leather stiched in by the thumb on each glove.

They are the most supple, comfortable gloves I have ever worn.

Ah right, they look very similar to the Geoff Wymer gloves you have there...

I believe he did have something to do with them, when I ordered mine he mentioned he'd made Alec's gloves. There again I think he's had a hand in the making of most pro keepers gloves at some time :)
