What is the difference between the Pod, Torque and the Wasp?
Is it just the different height of the sweet spot?
Just the different profiles set on the bats

The torque has a lower middle than the wasp and pod and has little/ no  concaving in comparison.  Wasp and pod profiles are relatively similar but wasp has dropped shoulders.

Thanks,
Yeah scored 102 not out and a 4 fifties with this last year. Very good bat to play the front foot drives with. However as you can tell the edge has a crack running all along it trying to figure out what to do with that. Took off the face sheet and now plan on cleaning up the face. Posted a question if I should use Mineral spirits or turpentine to get rid of the glue or not. Still haven't decided this don't want to ruin the bat that scored me so many runs.

I emailed Salix and they said 30 pounds postage and 315 pounds to get a pod players  which is without the vat tax.
Seems a very good price.
I would speak to Paul from It's Just Cricket - he's on this forum as well with his own section. He handpicks the bats from all the factories at better prices too. For example, he's selling the Pod Players for 310 GBP and will knock VAT off that price. That takes it to under 260 GBP...

Thanks for that. I will email Paul.
At those prices i might buy two!
Never bought a bat online before as i like to pick them up but the bats on here look good and just have to trust their judgement on choosing a good blade.

I usually just scrape off every thing as much as I can with a metal putty knife, then sand it with a medium grade sandpaper, you will find more spots with old glue residue etc...apply linseed oil and let it soak for a couple of hours then back to putty knife to scrape off the rest of the glue as oil will help remove it and then more sanding (medium then fine) and it should be good...

i would personally get a sander and sand the glue off rather that putting any liquid on the bat you are likely to more damage

White spirit evaporates off.  Won't cause any damage.  That'll loosen the glue for scraping, then sand it, oil and scuff.  Simples
