Compton never going to be a test player. 1 good first class season in 10 years. Get someone young in to open like root now so that he can get some games as an opener under his belt before the ashes.

Bob Willis is a boring git, and writing England off already, great...

Yeah it's not that bad yet. If we are struggling then NZ will be toast.. What am I saying, this game is made for them to take a 'shock' lead in the series.. haha

Still, we'll see what Mr Bell has in the locker now. I don't believe he'll score more than 30 but hope he scores 100+.

Bob Willis is on a roll, nobody puts you down like Bob can!
This pitch colour is ridiculous, what a farce.

Monty will save us :)

I think a monty 50 is on the cars with a 50 from Jimmy too :)

Meh, tbh this is a good test now for our middle order which has got to be a good thing. Trott needs to bat, bat, bat.. bat some more, bat.. think about batting.. bat some more etc. I'm more interested in watching Bell!

I despise Bob Willis, he talks utter rubbish all the time and is so miserable, I dont understand why Sky still employ him to talk such crap

I'd pay to listen to Boycott after that start :)

Ive got great memories of Willis steaming in off that long run up, eyes like pissholes in the snow.

Scathing as he is SKY love his controversial comments and demeanour.

I can see him loosening up after a few sherberts ;)

Nick  Knight is as smarmy as they come, doesnt offer much insight.
Athers and Hussein are my favourites together with Bumble who seems to have calmed down since Bertie passed on.

Can't knock Nasser.. Who else would get abused all day and keep coming back! Plus, he helped shape the England set up we know now.

Athers, Nasser, Beefy, Holding, Warne and Bumble are my favourites.
