Game over now surely, England get out of jail but a very important wake up call I think

Great fight back by the English, solid application for the 2 days. It might have been a different story without Finns fantastic effort, his highest 1st class score and more importantly the time and balls he soaked up, especially the hour he went without scoring a run, a couple of days of good old fashioned test cricket.

Well I'm very surprised at how we have dominated this test, I was expecting the complete opposite, now that Eng have woken up and gained a bit of respect for NZ, the second test will be a better contest if NZ can back up again.

Sadly, we didn't because that other bastion of hard headedness under pressure [/sarcasm] Bell ran him out in the search for a desperately needed quick single.

I managed to make it to half way through the afternoon session before I dozed off. Just woken up on the sofa in a tasty pool of dribble.

Cracking knock by Finn. Its good to know the England tail isn't quite as long as we thought and puts even more pressure on Broad to contribute runs.

I don't think we should assume that this means he will make regular scores in Test cricket going forward!
