M&H T1 Kit bag
« on: March 12, 2013, 12:26:08 PM »

I received this bag yesterday and as has just been launched thought that I would upload a few photos so you could see what it has to offer. Sorry the photos were taken on my mobile so not the greatest quality but hopefully gives you a good idea of the bag.

This is replacing my old Newbury SPS which you can see as a size comparison which I have had for 2 or 3 years but sadly the zips have broken so it was time for a replacement.

First impressions of the T1 are that it is a well made bag, the (materials are on a par with my old Newbury) and it has some serious capacity, it took all the kit that I have. The padded bat pocket is snug but can easily fit 3 bats. It also stands up well which will be a welcome relief for my team mates in some of the small away changing rooms.

The kit the T1 took is as follows:
3 bats – M&H Amplus, Newbury Thruxton SPS (yes, I know I need to sort out the grip) and Newbury Uzi C6+; 2 pairs of pads; 4 pairs of gloves (mostly in the side pockets), inners; helmet; Thigh pad and inner thigh pad; 3 boxes (well can’t be too careful) and always carry a guest box in case someone has forgotten/lost which I never use; 1 pair of spikes; Sunglasses and sunscreen (looking a bit optimistic with the snow around at the moment).
M&H are selling this bag for £100 but several places have the T1 for about £88 which is what I paid.  So this is now in the same price bracket as the Newbury Tour, Salix Pod one tri-wheeled and GM Original Duplex which I was also considering but this bag was capable of taking 3 bats in the bat pocket the Salix and GM only had space for 2 didn’t and the Newbury did not have one at all so that is what clinched it for me.
If you have any questions then please let me know

I have been thinking about buying this just haven't decided from where yet, doing some rough math it would be cheaper for me to buy from M&H (108 shipped to Canada) vs anywhere else as i would get charged 60 odd GBP shipping from else where (even with my 20% this is would cost me roughly 125 shipped from IJC)....

Looks really good that, would like to see one in person. Looks a contender to the GN PP one which I am looking to get eventually

Thanks for the kind words about the bag and the kit it now contains.

I bought the bag from the company that sponsors the cricket league I play in (sorry not one of the sponsors) as I got another 5% off the £88 they charge and free delivery.

That looks great, should look into getting something bigger. My GM Original kit bag isn't big enough to carry 2 bats, helmet, batting pads, gloves, thigh guard and keeping gear all at once. Looks pretty neat and tidy too.

T3 is one of the best duffles I have used. So I can imagine this is a very good bag.

Sorry for the delay, the pads I have are the the new 2013 GM Original LE and 2011 Newbery SPS. Thigh pads have an old GM Original LE and a old Newbery Inner Thigh pad but looking at getting a set of Stretton Fox ones in the near future.

You will not be disappointed mate, the bag stands up really well, and holds so much kit, I have been using it at nets for 4 weeks and I am very happy with it.

There is a really good video on this bag that It's Just Cricket have put up on you tube if people want to see more detail of this bag.

Nice review, is there any chance of some photos with it stood up from a bit further away so we can see it stands alone or tilts. Cheers.
