I received this bag yesterday and as has just been launched thought that I would upload a few photos so you could see what it has to offer. Sorry the photos were taken on my mobile so not the greatest quality but hopefully gives you a good idea of the bag.
This is replacing my old Newbury SPS which you can see as a size comparison which I have had for 2 or 3 years but sadly the zips have broken so it was time for a replacement.
First impressions of the T1 are that it is a well made bag, the (materials are on a par with my old Newbury) and it has some serious capacity, it took all the kit that I have. The padded bat pocket is snug but can easily fit 3 bats. It also stands up well which will be a welcome relief for my team mates in some of the small away changing rooms.
The kit the T1 took is as follows:
3 bats – M&H Amplus, Newbury Thruxton SPS (yes, I know I need to sort out the grip) and Newbury Uzi C6+; 2 pairs of pads; 4 pairs of gloves (mostly in the side pockets), inners; helmet; Thigh pad and inner thigh pad; 3 boxes (well can’t be too careful) and always carry a guest box in case someone has forgotten/lost which I never use; 1 pair of spikes; Sunglasses and sunscreen (looking a bit optimistic with the snow around at the moment).
M&H are selling this bag for £100 but several places have the T1 for about £88 which is what I paid. So this is now in the same price bracket as the Newbury Tour, Salix Pod one tri-wheeled and GM Original Duplex which I was also considering but this bag was capable of taking 3 bats in the bat pocket the Salix and GM only had space for 2 didn’t and the Newbury did not have one at all so that is what clinched it for me.
