Sure, glue and clamps will do the job.. after that some bat tape or twine....
Am I the only one who is thinking super glue and twine are the last things to use for this?? (Not intended to be disrespectful)

Can a thread like this be made permanent at top of the topic?We all break bats from time to time would be good to have 1 thread to see breaks and post our own? Then forum sponsors could maybe offer repair prices, and other members could suggest repair jobs. Sorry to see your broken bat, that horrible feeling when you hear/feel it go then look down to see the damage....
Personally, I would glue it, dowel it (fairly low down the blade), then apply pigskin to hold it together. I have done heaps very similar
pig skin o dear make it weigh a lot more I just hate them
How would one put a dowel in a bat? opening the crack completely or drilling from one edge to the other?
