Anybody got any predictions for todays play? Some runs for Bairstow would certainly help his case.

With the run rate as it is has Boycott made a come back? With Trott having the highest strike rate that's a worry. You thought the test in NZ was boring.... Boringggggggggg

This pitch is looking pretty hard to play on...

Root out for 40 caught down the leg side off Southee. I'd be fuming!

England only have themselves to blame. The performance yesterday, was awful. The way they played Bruce Martin was embarrassing!

Ian Bell blocked out 47 dot balls out of 50 balls he faced from the guy??!?!?! That is appalling. Now that the ball is starting to do something and they need to push the score along they've hit problems.

England bowlers need to perform well when they get out there. Early wickets and pile the pressure on the NZ boys.Jimmy Anderson will enjoy the Duke back in his hand!

Given the struggles of England's batting against the Kiwis the Ashes is going to be much closer than many may have thought...

Lets just hope that this is just another one of England's poor starts to a series, positive thinking and all of that?

Look at Finny with his new woodworm gear, found a new sponsor after his performance in NZ ;)

I feel a bit sorry for Bairstow. He's got to open up a bit now, if he gets out (which is likely) he'll be criticised heavily. If he doesn't open up he'll be criticized for not taking responsibility! Test cricket eh? Love it!  :D

Not that it is really that related to this series but Strauss is going to be part of the commentary team for both of the back to back ashes series for Sky.
