A little disappointed, everybody from around my area don't go for the smaller custom brands.

Oppo had an Australian GN and a fair few Kookaburra's, about it :(

Not really much worth of note, we had a GN Oblivion Players and my Laver, but the opposition had a lovely looking SS which I managed to get photos of. 8)

Tapped up really nicely too!

Saw some Astoria pads today, told the kiwi wearing them that he's in a pretty cool club sporting those, he appreciated it.

Also saw an SM Pintu (these are being sold by a guy in the local area out of his garage) nice stick but certainly not a grade 1++ (yes, plus plus) as their website claims, and not worth £355 either.

Also saw a very nice Laver at the weekend, told the guy his bat had done a lot of airmiles to play in an average Sunday league, he was out shortly after and they were all out for 39 chasing our 159  :D

What are Astoria pads Jake?

Astoria is/was a brand that was very popular for a short period and then seemed to dissapear overnight, I first came across their stuff when I was in Australia, not sure if they are an Aussie/Kiwi, UK or Subcontinental brand but their softs always struck me as classy looking and comfortable.

Nothing can be found about them online and I don't know if they still exist but it was cool to get a blast from the (sort of recent) past.

All I can find from them now is clearance whites for sale, no equipment.

Probably the most interesting match of the season yesterday for oppo kit. A nice looking Laver from their opener who didn't hang around long enough to show what it could do. Sadly neither did the guy he let borrow it down the order! Two guys with Uzi Sports Black Mambas, one of which we got to see ping a few nice boundaries.

Played against a team with a lot of SS, Ishan and CA bats between them. Were a couple of Adidas ones in there too.
I was too wound up by their cheating to pay any real attention to their kit unfortunately!

Just been to watch Lincolnshire v Suffolk in the Minor Counties 3 day cup, Suffolk lads had Aedos and Piranha (?) bats, not sure if there were any other quirky things... ooo yes someone had blueroom stuff.
