It was:

Ultimate
Pro
Supreme
Select
Super
Panther

I had the V800 Supreme which was grade 2 willow with orange stickers.

Absolutely love the older slazenger stickers.

I'm wondering if any of you guys can advice if this is a fake or original Slazenger V1200. Looks like a decent bat if it's original.

Cheers

What makes you question whether it is genuine or not?
where did you get it from

I saw this online on a website called trademe (it's like ebay). I don't know much about the old Slazenger stickers, hence the doubt. Cheers

I'd say genuine, dount there were many fake stickers around at the time when these bats were in prominence, fairly old Slazenger model

Is this the top end slazenger bat back in the days? it's selling for 50 NZD (25 pounds) I guess.

Those are the stickers that Mark Richardson used circa 2004.

No profile shot of the V12 - I take it it's not a 'proper' one!

Huge thread resurrection this, but does anyone know if Panther was Kashmir willow or Slazenger's  top of the range at the time?

Cheers Kulli. No fence-sitting there!  :D

I do find it kind of puzzling that they take the Panther, Slazenger's  brand's logo, and use it to denote their lowest quality product.

If anything, they should use it as a grade to denote the very best willow. Not only would it associate the Slazenger logo with being the best, it would also stand as a point of difference to all those 'super select'  'grade 1+' 'supreme' categorisations of willow other brands use.
