I also got out first ball to a length ball, that I gloved behind with the gloves infront of my face (while stood up straight!!!)

Would that be a golden duck?

There are a few places I hate going to play down in sunny kent. The worst are the bowl grounds where if it rains during the week, 100 is a good score.

Worst grounds are either Wilmington which is a council pitch and is just bloody deadly either gonna smash into your face or your toes and you never know which from ballot ball

Others include dartfordians which is a nice square but outfield is all rugby pitch so bobbly and also shooters hill which again is basically a rugby club that want to make a few quid in the summer from cricket, awful square and outfield.

Charfield is a horrible ground. Haven't played where Bedminster 3s have unless it's the bottom pitch from their 1s?

Tetbury is also a vile place to place

Bedminster 3's play behind the school opposite. Ashton Court I think it is, horrible place. I've not played Tetbury. Had an interesting game this weekend against the Bohemians in Filton on an awful, cracked and dusty track that had the most uneven bounce you have ever seen. Still managed to bat 35 overs though.

Luckily though sim dog Stanley are so bad teams still bang 200+ on that track lol. Wouldn't like to think I was facing any wheels on there or a class spinner. We arrived this year for the t20 mate and the  square was a similar length to the outfield. We couldmt even tell which strip was meant to have been prepared. One year we banged 189-2 in a t20 and rolled them for less than 30. It took us 18 overs to do it mind because they just couldnt get bat on ball, our bowlers turned it from a two paced tufty shocker into an absolute terror track

What's that postage stamp across from glen road sim. That place is a dump!! No electrics, no working toilets etc and got changed in a damp, dark and soggy outbuilding. Ground itself is tiny and is in serious need of TLC yet they play aire wharf div 1 I think. Absolute joke of a place that. Outfield wouldn't look out of place in the swamps of Louisiana and the wicket as already destroyed when we turned up. They only rolled it when we had won the toss and decided they were going to bat first !!

That's it. No screens mate this time either and one end you've got the bowler coming out of the brick building or trees and at the other there's the hill, church and tennis court fences lol.
