No idea, a member of the club used to play there so we had a friendly arranged and it was a minefield, bloody dangerous tbh. We had three guys intentionally get out it was that pointless

I played against K&D a fair bit in the past (The one Keith Barker played for) As far as I'm aware it split into Knowle and Dorridge a few years ago. Couldn't say a word against the pitch in the past, maybe it's the new ground of whichever had to relocate

Walthamstow

I played a game up there a few years back, awful pitch - track was dire and the outfield wasn't any better. The opposition being a bunch of knobs didn't help either.

Perhaps not their first ground, a lot of clubs in the Midlands use multiple grounds due to the amount of teams run on Saturdays.

Whichever it was it was where their firsts played. When something off a length either rolls or takes your head off its pointless

@mdg20 - not trying to insult you at all, I played very briefly for Newham and I'm certainly not saying their facilities are the worlds best! I did think their nets and track were exceptional though, especially for a club with half the league against them for no apparent reason (definitely political reasons than personal, but isn't it the same in every league!).

I do apologise for any insult, just one ground that sticks out for me (probably more for the manner the game was played in tbh)

If anyone has played down south, the new forest kinda south, will probably heard of Swan Green. Renowned as a terrible ground. The strip itself is pretty good but it is on a hill of its own. Standing at one end of the ground you could only see chest up of another  player standing at the other end. Theres a few trees within the boundary one being a MASSIVE oak tree. The outfield is littered with an awful amount of horse sh*t and there are a few uncovered manhole with loads of concrete all over them.

The ground was so bad, they were denied promotion one year because of it

And I'd still rather play there than have to field near the Green Dragon at Rowner...

When I lived in Wiltshire, a club from Bournemouth always used to come up for a friendly every summer so one year we returned the favour and went down to theirs. Good grief... it's well over 20 years ago but I can still remember having to tiptoe around the outfield to avoid dogs**t that covered the outfield. The opposition chased down our total rather quickly as no-one actually wanted to field the ball. I think there was some argument whether it was dog or fox excrement but whatever, it was absolutely disgusting.
