I have managed 2 chance less 100's this season so far, depending on the standard you play there quite common, well at least in my league cricket.

I have however been dropped 3 times on 0 and still managed to score 0 when I was bowled in aT20 match last year. I have also seen a wk drop a batsmen twice in a row on last 2 balls of an over and then miss a simple stumping first ball of next over and the batter got a ton and celebrated like he had just won England the ashes, kissing his club badge and everything. Drops I reckon even them selves out its LBW's i reckon that we as batsmen get away with far more often than a dropped chance.

Too many LBW's? You are joking I'm sure. League umpires are very very quick to trigger, especially in the second innings. Chanceless innings aren't rare, but as you described.. someone doing it with no chances can be justly proud, where as someone who gets dropped etc and gets there, although they can still feel proud you can't really celebrate like you've won teh ashes as you know you shouldn't be there so to speak.

Still, everyone is different. Some don't care about giving chances. I personally hate giving the fielding team a sniff so really don't like giving them anything.

Honestly mate in the Kent league LBW decisions definatly go in the batsmens favour, as a keeper I see them all and also as an opening bat I get wrapped on the pads a bit and a lot of umpires are very batter friendly on LBW's. you get the odd " dodgy umpire" but in the main most say not out and then give no reason for the decision just say not out.

You know you shouldn't be there? Nah, not having that. If they don't take the chances then you deserve to be there. Their loss is your gain, you profit from it. That's how cricket works. Just because the oppo can't catch, it shouldn't represent that you "shouldn't be there". You just capitalised on their mistake. Remember KP's ashes 158? Warne dropped him on 0 off Brett Lee. I would bet everything I own that he celebrated that like it was the perfect innings. Guaranteed.
