You took the 606 sticker off?

Turn it upside down and it's a 909  ;)

If the GM machine cuts all bats in a particular range to the same dimensions, shouldn't all Octane's have 48mm edges?

I really do like this profile and you seem to have got a good deal fella.
How popular is this model, does it sell as well as the Icon?
You dont find any used ones for sale on Ebay and I havent seen one on this forum.

It is our best selling GM bat this season.

Correction from earlier, this actually has 48mm edges!
are you sure? for that weight, it would be very very difficult to get that edge size
in which case, congrats buddy! you are a very lucky bloke

They should all have that edge size?

The GM machine cuts all bat in a range to size. Variations in weight are down to variations in willow alone. That is what Mr Bacon told us, I'm sure.

I think edge sizes still vary, but I'm sure they don't vary that crazily! :-[ Maybe the machine wasn't quite calibrated as well as it should have been, or maybe it was a batch of extremely light clefts that they removed less wood from.

I think within reason. For heavier weights ie. GM Icon+, they do have a different profile setup to make bigger edges. It will depend on whether the variation in density meets the demand for bats at specific weights. Be surprised if a 2'10 required a different profile as it would close to the stock weight imho.

This particular bat is 2lb 8, is it not? That's a 'standard' kind of weight?
