I am not sure if this was asked before, is it advisable to use a ball which was wet.? Does this anyhow affect the willow?

In a rain affected match, not sure you'd have a choice.

For other reason(falling rain and wet ground) I don't use my best bats when in those conditions.

Thanks mate. I am also specifically interested to know how would be the balls' quality after it is been dried out? Any ideas on this?

For throw downs and general practice I use the Readers Club ball although made in India I find it to be durable and does not damage bats.

My 2p worth.

I have also noticed that some of the cheaper balls are not balanced. While 'going round the loop' and spinning them up like a finger spinner they would come back scrambled. I bought 20 or so 'el cheapo' Salz red white balls to practice on my own and every time the same 50% would come down with a scrambled seem. This was also true with a Adidas SB ball. If this happens then it cannot be good for any type of bowler.

Has anyone else noticed this?
