Play for Brunel, we are playing you on 7th May. I won't be playing as I'm injured but may be down to watch.

How long are you out for?

Thats a shame mate. We had a pink ball t20 against Brighton College last night, which we won fairly comfortably, but took ages because we had to dry the ball before every delivery because it drizzled the whole way through. At the moment, I am powering through on ibuprofen, kinesio tape and cold spray for university ultimate nationals at the weekend, before settling back into just playing cricket to recover from my shin splints, but the physio said it might be a few months before I am fully fit.

I know it's away from this site, but in the interest of sharing ideas and information, I manage "Cricket Coaches Worldwide" which is a coaches group / forum on Linked In. We have over 2,500 coaches actively involved in discussions. With coaches ranging from new comers to cricket with basic questions and discussions, through to international coaches like John Buchanan and Darren Lehmann.

Its understandable if you don't want to offer people a portal outside of this site, however in the interest of sharing info I'm sure many people would find it useful.

To add to the database. I'm a Level 2 Coach, based in North Leicestershire. Pace bowling, batting technique and tactics are perhaps my strongest suits.

level 3 can do most, but mainly bowling, bio dynamics and tactics. Having said that most of its common sense not rocket science. Make sure your damn good at the basics before you add the window dressing.

Anyone use the icoachcricket website? Is it just me or is this the shittest and most pointless website on the planet? It looks like it was designed in the 1990s, and the content is utterly abject.

I am, and yes I do think it is pretty poor.  The stuff for young kids just starting out has some use but beyond that you can find better stuff on YouTube
