My kit for the 2014 season :D

I see that you've gone for the MP softs. Always wondered how they looked (not stock photos) and they look good to me! How do the gloves feel on, had a chance to net with them yet? :)

I really like the look of those spartan softs, they just seem quite high priced for a new company. If you look at someone like Salix they can price like that because the have the reputation, IMO I would be inclined to charge a lower price to get some penetration. Maybe I am just being bitter as I can't persuade myself to buy the pads  :(

This is most of my bat portfolio. Aim to reduce to 5 before the season starts

Left to right, all are approximately 2lb 9-10oz unless stated

Kookaburra Kahuna 1000 / 2010 / may sell this once finished using it for winter nets. Good middle. Was top of Kookaburra range in its day. Only used indoors.

Kookaburra Kahuna 1000 / 2012 / barely used, in the process of selling this

Kookaburra Kahuna Players / 2012 / lovely bat, used it in most matches last year

Warsop Stebbing Scimitar bow / 2012 / 3lb 6oz / unused, may sell this before the season commences

Kookaburra Menace Blitz / 2013 / hardly used, plan to sell it to a team mate

Kookaburra Menace 950 / 2013 / new, unused, this is currently on ebay

Gray-Nicolls Powerbow Strauss LE / 2013 / purchased from Sports Direct end of last season, incredible bargain, looking forward to using this

HitsHard Mojo Super Power / 2013 / used, am doing my best to try and keep this

Missing from the photograph is my Salix Pod 1 Grade One which is with Salix for a refurb.

Focus on Kookaburra kit here. Bats are in the same order as listed above.

Accompanied by Kahuna 1000 Small Mens Pad (2012); Kahuna Small Mens gloves (2010); CCX 900 Men's pad (2010); CCX Pro issue gloves (2011). (I have included only one pad each simply because of limited space).

The Kahuna 1000 second left is now sold to a team-mate hence the hastily arranged indoor photography.

Wasrsop explained it was something drawn up through the tree from the roots. Doesn't look attractive but doesn't affect the performance.

I have a pair of CCX player issue gloves and they are the best gloves iv used. They are so soft and supple for sausage finger gloves.

@Charliemott - Definitely worth keeping an eye out for Lorimer Sports on eBay though, they often have pro edition gear kicking about. Admittedly the pads less often, but still!

Plenty GN on show there!
Oh I miss the old GN Powerbow shape, the one with no concaving....!

The CCX pads were on ebay prior to me deciding to use them instead. The CCX gloves are indeed fantastic so thought may as well keep the set. Pads a touch large for me, OK for nets use as not running in them. Very comfortable set of softs offering good protection.
