Fair few grains on that last one - looks good! What bat is it?

I have what i think is an absolute stunning piece of timber......12/13 straight sapwood grains and weighing in at 2.9. Enjoy these grains as they dont come around very often........

Nice Lekka there SillyShilly - really like the spacing of the grains, between 8 and 15 seems a decent number for me.

The bat I posted was an old Slazenger V600 that a teammate didn't want anymore, I cleaned it up before giving it to a cricket charity in Sri Lanka.  It didn't have much of a middle, looked alright though when I'd removed all the tape and muck, he didn't really look after it.

Hi folks
Thought I would put these two up.
3lb 3oz on the left and 13 grains. 3lb 2oz and 15 grains on the right.
Lovely bit of heartwood on each bat.
Talisman is responsible for the beautiful cadbury stckered Zeus - Thanks again Mike  ;)

I do have a few 3lb+ bats, and am lucky enough to be big enough to use them that heavy without wrist problems (obviously I've had many years of wrist strengthening in the past!  ;) ) but I'm getting on so well with 2'13 that I am not tempted yet!
Maybe in the nets I'll give the beasts a go and see what I've been missing out on!  ;)
