Some of the videos on youtube suggest that Slazenger and Puma share the same factory, so the look of the softs doesn't surprise me too much.

I am really liking the new range from what i've seen. Excited to pick it all up at the trade show.

Got to agree with some people, I don't like the new V. I think the 2012/13 designs have been the best for years. Especially the V100 and V360. They look very classy and the new V's look a bit dated.

V5 looks good.  Like the blue and the shape.  It's also nice to see a retro bat in grade 3, as the Pro Tour range was slightly restrictive price-wise last year.  Can only assume the price point will be £150 max?

No prices from Slaz as of yet Paul, i guess we will find out at the trade show. Grade 3 suggests it is definitely a budget option though.

I'm a fan of the V1200 stickers etc but not it's profile. The dual spine is interesting, not sure what benefit the tapered toe will provide.

Thanks, Jake.

Those XRLite gloves look lovely too.  I was a big fan of their Ultimate gloves, so if this represents a step-up from that, I have very high hopes...

So, the V6 is 5 star and the V5 is 3 star?

It's a shame we don't get retro no-nonsense sometimes...

I personally quite like the new stickers  :) , think they've mixed the old stickers well with a modern style to give them a slightly more up to date look!

It just occurred to me when watching the England game that Eoin Morgan uses the Slazenger v360, is the v360 still part of the range this year?

I can only see the v100, v600, v1200, v5, v6, and v12. I always liked the profile of the v360.

No V360. Not sure what Morgan will use next season

Today Morgans bat had some white tape over the side 'TON'  position (of course other brands also mark their bats here) - I wonder if he is not a fan of thenew slaz range!

He has used a bat with a side stamp (likely to be TON) for a few years now, but I've only ever seen it covered up so can't be sure exactly who makes it.

Probably as a result of his time in the IPL. I seem to recall AB de Villiers also has some tape in the same position during and after the IPL.

Really like the V5 profile as others have said. A shame it won't come at any higher willow grade.

Also really like the look of the v1200. Also much prefer the branding on the modern stuff this year that's for sure.
