Last summer (Aussie) I bought a Puma Platinum Black Edition and a White Edition and they were both made in India. Both went really well but I just couldn't find the middle of them so sold them to a batsman...  :-[

I did pick a couple of them as well form PDC, they do ping nice but there is much concaving that i just couldn't get on with it.
Nothing wrong with them but .... not for me. Luckily have a couple of friends who buy bats based on stickers so :)

Now the not so good - surely a bat that RRPs at £400 should have a bat cover?!  And here's the clincher for me; I thought all Puma 5000s and above were made by Rob Pack?  This says its made in India.  Please enlighten me on the latest with that anyone in the know.

Anyway, as good as it is and as good as it pings with the mallet, its going back.  I bought it a couple of days before Jake released info on my adolescent dream bat, the Bubble.  Whereas many of you are able to justify multiple bats, my ability and the mortgage doesn't, so it'll be the B3 and the Bubble for me in 2014.  I figured that there is always a bit of talk about what Puma bats are like, I thought I'd share some info, just in case anyone else is looking at one in the future


I envy you man... Looks like a great stick for 179

I'm back and forth - still debating whether to sell it or not.

It wasn't knocked in, so I've done a bit and it pings very well - just not sure I'll use it with my B3 and Bubble.  Maybe I'll change my view when I've used it in the nets...
