It's not a new idea, they have plenty of experience at getting the hole lined up. Hunts did it with the original Turbo and some other bats i believe. There were also bats that were drilled and the hole filled with cork, though i think this is now banned. These holes may have run almost the length of the bat, whereas this new bat does not a full length hole.

The Turbo Revolutions hole doesn't run the full length of the bat, just through the area we would class as the middle. It is capped where it comes out the back of the cleft, this is almost unnoticeable based on the one i saw.

Thanks Jake. I remember the M&H S6 that had dowels glued into the back, but I haven't heard of a hole going through the blade like this.

No. Dave was just interested in possibly buying a PR bat. We can order them if required.

Apologies I haven't. It wasn't particularly big, but felt light for the size. Hunts say that it takes about 3oz off the dead weight.  Steve Turnock from Hunts is a new member on the forum, but not sure if he is following the thread.

I guess that would make it a roughly 15mm diameter hole that's about 30-35cm long...

Anyone care to comment on pick up?

they really needed to put the toe guard on those bats.
