Providing I stay sober and can get away from the party early enough, I will drive.  Although coming through tooting and balham up to your neck of the woods, a drink may be in need!

Think we can help you out there, Adam - you are an IJC loyalist, so we may even offer you two for the road!  :D

Appreciate you making the effort!  :)

Paul, a brisk walk may be just what some of us need after a few sherberts!

But i agree, taxi is probably the best idea. We might need to book an extra one just for kit based on the fact that you couldn't see our shop floor during our event. Bags and bats strewn about everywhere.

Good point, Jake - will bear that in mind!

So long as it's real ale, I'm in!  Can't stand that fizzy pop lager stuff... ;)

If the meal finishes the same time as last year's, I should be able to get away by 3/4 and up to you.  I'd prefer to drive as I don't fancy lugging that massive bag of mine around the northern line!

I'm, delighted to announce that David (aka Dr Bacon) and Russ from B3 will be in attendance.  They will be bringing a couple of test bats for the net, and will also have their bat design software on hand (both in the shop and the nets), if anyone is interested to take a look at their wizardry!  :)

Any more for any more??

I have contacted The Oval about the nets on the 5th, and they have offered us a few slots, as follows:

7-8pm
8-9pm
7-9pm

The cost is £40 per net per hour.  Before booking, I need to know the following:

1. How many nets should we book? We'd need at least two, but would people prefer three? Given that our numbers currently look to be 14-15, this would be much more intense on the bowlers, so maybe not the best?!
2. Which time slot is best, and are people up for two hours?

I'd be grateful if the people attending could answer and then I will book whatever the majority verdict is...

I would say 2 nets for an hour, that would give a chance for 8 people to bat.
