Is having Craig Kieswetter using your product something you really want to shouting quite so loudly about?

Well, in fairness, he's the first big name player the brand have sponsored - the first that's actually bearing their stickers on his bats anyway.  So, if you're ever going to shout about it...

Why's that?
Oversized clefts... They use it for their Amplus, Master and CK22... The most likely reason is that people prefer a thicker edge, and they can get both massive edges and a high spine with OS clefts. Maybe it didn't do too well in the sales this year, so wanted something which bridges the Amplus and Master ranges. I could be wrong though, just my thoughts on it. :)
As Chadders has said. The distinction needs an oversize cleft to achieve a 70mm spine. Yet they claim to use them on the other 3 bats. Sounds like marketing as You don't need an oversize cleft to achieve edges upto 45-50mm edges

The oversized cleft is required for the spine height. With a standard cleft it's hard to get the spine over 65mm as the cleft is cut 75 mm. Once pressed and planed/sanded its hard to get it above 65mm hence my earlier question in this thread.

The distinction is the only one with such a high spine i think - the master and amplus are much bigger all over but still lightweight for the size. I think the cleft height was needed to get that ultra high spine on the distinction
